Welcome to our crazy, too soon, magical, whirlwind, scary, beautiful, weird, fast, amazingly God led, God arranged, Spirit filled story!
Yes, all of those words and more have been used to describe this, our story, since July 17, 2024.
It all started with two wonderful love stories; me (Kristine) and Rick and Vernon and Jeanette. Two marriages (20 years and 42 years respectfully) that were filled with family, love and life. These stories ended with Rick and Jeanette being called home to be with our Lord. Jeanette went home May 30, 2022 and Rick June 21, 2024.
Just a few weeks after Rick passed, Vernon saw a video that I had made on Facebook speaking about the loss of my love and best friend, Rick. He recognized that pain and reached out to pray with and encourage me (Vernon is an Ordained Minister). It was weird, but very sweet.
I was pretty cautious, as Vernon had no social media presence and for all I knew he was a hacker or scammer.
Turns out.....he was neither.
He is a real man, with a beautiful heart and giving spirit.
The coincidences are staggering and undeniable. We choose to call them God nods.
It was clear to both of us early on that God was doing something here. Everything just fit. At every turn, God was showing me that this man was meant to be in my life and I in his.
Vernon and I started a friendship instantly that had us talking daily for hours and hours a day, about all things life and this friendship quickly grew into a respectful love.
I have never met someone spiritually before meeting them in person.
We are so excited to enter into this new chapter of our lives, with love and hope, trusting God to use us for His glory!
